WordPress 2.6 “Tyner”

WordPress 2.6 “Tyner” is officially released today which is a month ahead of schedule.

For those of you who want to have a quick look at the latest features bundled in this version, WordPress team has presented in this video why this version is a more powerful CMS.

Version 2.6 fixes approximately 194 bugs. All my plugins are working properly after the upgrade. Don’t forget to use WordPress Automatic Upgrade plugin as mentioned previously, for a quick and painless upgrade.

    I’ve been leery to upgrade after reading some of the issues at the WP forums.

    I’m going to wait a few days before attempting.
