WordPress 2.5 and Joining CSS Naked Day
I took a little time off from all the make more money online tasks and upgraded this website. I’ve heard some good feedbacks from bloggers in the community about WordPress 2.5. I tested it my local hard drive first before doing a live update.
What I liked best:
- Intuitive Dashboard
- One click plugin upgrade
- Friendlier Visual Post editor
For someone who value aesthetics and functionality, WordPress 2.5 is the way to go. I can’t dwell any more into the details since much has been discussed in the community. One plugin that I can recommend so that you can easily upgrade without the hassle is Techie Buzz’s WordPress Automatic Upgrade plugin. Just install and activate it in your plugins folder. You will be guided with a manual upgrade version or the one-click automatic upgrade. Before 5 minutes, you will have the latest version of WordPress up and running. Heed my warning, please… don’t forget to backup everything before doing any upgrade.
Tomorrow, with my new WordPress upgraded website I’ll be joining the CSS Naked Day 2008 . Yes! I’m stripping for the world to see. The idea behind this is to help promote Web Standards - plain and simple. I’ll be using Aja’s WordPress Naked Day plugin to simplify the code stripping. Just like what they said… it’s time to show off your <body>.
I’ll join the rest of 800+ bloggers/website owners who have signified their intention to undress their blogs/websites tomorrow. Didn’t I say I’ll take a day off from making money online? Test drive your make more money online blogs with WordPress 2.5 and undress it by getting naked without CSS style.

Mostly, it will affect your blog in a good way. However, you need to take some careful considerations with your themes and plugins compatibility before upgrading. You can check the list of compatible plugins here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Plugins/Plugin_Compatibility/2.5
Just don’t forget to backup everything before the upgrade.
