PayPal Philippines Fully Loaded
After waiting for many months, the global leader in online payment solutions, PayPal finally gave the full signal for Filipinos to withdraw funds to their Visa® debit, credit or prepaid card.
How does it work?
Be sure to have a PayPal account. Follow the 3 easy steps below to withdraw your funds from your PayPal balance to your Visa® credit, debit or prepaid card. Here’s how:
- Log in to your account and click the ‘Withdraw’ tab.
- Click ‘Transfer funds to your card’.
- Fill in the required information and click ‘Continue’.
Will every Visa® credit, debit or prepaid card work?
No. Eligibility to withdraw funds to a Visa® credit/debit card may vary based on the issuing banks guidelines and regulations.
Here’s the list of card services to withdraw your PayPal funds. Among the list, I prefer to use the UnionBank EON, simply because you can easily apply for an account online and will be able to get the card after 5 days of application for only P350.
This is good news for us! It means that a simple Juan and Maria can already sell goods worldwide through eBay and be paid instantly using PayPal. This will truly enhance the booming e-commerce in the country.
Just an update: I’ve already got my Paypal account verified. Don’t forget to deposit P200 initially so you can activate it. Afterwards, call Unionbank’s toll free number after 3-5 banking days to secure your Paypal Expanded Use Number. Good luck!
